This is the very most relaxing/go-to-sleep fireplace video! There is almost no loop... repeats only every hour... one is able to get into the mesmerizing glow of changing embers as the flames do a slightly slowed down dance with perfect smoke curls... also there is a most perfect balance between moderate crackle sounds and the chimney fire wind! Love the visible hand that occasionally reaches in to stoke or rekindle this perfect burning beauty!

I was attracted by the words Golden Yellow and Blue, especially because you used capitals, and because the way you describe the fire as intimate and cozy. It shows a caring personality attached to his feelings, wanting to give others a good time from the heart. This is well done and original. I've been watching some of the fireplace videos from that other channel that has dozens up all the time, that are 12 hours long. Some have very good sound, but they are all on a 10 second loop, nothing ever changes. I like this one for the realism. I just wish it would last all night, or 8 - 10 hours.

Yah I got lucky that one of my fireplace videos resonated well with that particular genre. Viewers have responded favorably and this encourages the algorithm. I didn't have views for about a year. Keep experimenting but realize this type of 'low barrier of entry' style of content is not an easy one to advance in since you have a lot of people doing the exact same thing, and there are not a lot of people looking for this type of content. You need to ask yourself if there is any demand for the type of content you're making. Just because you make it doesn't necessarily mean there's an audience for it. Try to focus on content that there is a demand for. In my case I own a fireplace so I can make original fireplace video clips, which is an advantage over people who use free fireplace stock videos (which everyone has access to and those do get over used). During colder months and winter, people like to stream this on their TVs, monitors, background, or sometimes to fall asleep to. I've also tried to make the style of video different than other people who make similar videos. I'll keep refining it and gradually improving my recording gear. This channel is a space for me to experiment and gain skills I'll apply elsewhere. So, view and subscribers wasn't the main goal, I'm still very glad it's been gaining some traction with the algorithm. It opens up new features and lets me learn and experiment a lot more with views and subscribers. Anyway hope you come back to watch some more. Streaming videos right up to the end help!

I film at 120fps. I personally like the aesthetics of a slow motion fire and I don't think it's commonly done by other channels. So it gives this channel a bit of a niche.
